{"id":9377,"date":"2026-09-10T13:21:19","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T13:21:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.memexitaly.it\/?p=9377"},"modified":"2026-09-10T13:21:19","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T13:21:19","slug":"boosting-readiness-of-rural-areas-for-connected-cooperative-automated-mobility-reccam-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.memexitaly.it\/en\/boosting-readiness-of-rural-areas-for-connected-cooperative-automated-mobility-reccam-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Boosting REadiness of rural areas for Connected, Cooperative &#038; Automated Mobility &#8211; RECCAM Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">MemEx is proud to be involved in <strong>RECCAM \u2013 Boosting Readiness of Rural Areas for Connected, Cooperative &amp; Automated Mobility<\/strong>, a three-year project funded by the Interreg Alpine Space Programme, officially launched on 1 September 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">RECCAM brings together 10 partners from 5 European countries \u2013 Slovenia, Germany, Austria, France and Italy \u2013 with a shared ambition: to strengthen the readiness of rural and peripheral areas to embrace Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) solutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The project aims to support local and regional policymakers in integrating digital-driven CCAM solutions into rural collective transport systems, helping improve accessibility, reduce car dependency and bridge the innovation gap between urban and rural areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Within the project, <strong>MemEx leads Work Package 3 \u2013 \u201cRECCAM Network for Rural Policymaker Engagement\u201d<\/strong>, taking responsibility for the establishment and development of the <strong>RECCAM Network<\/strong>, stakeholder engagement and capacity-building activities. The Network will provide a platform for policymakers and other relevant stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences and strengthen their capacity to integrate innovative mobility solutions into rural transport systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The project will officially come together for its first Kick-off Meeting (KOM), taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 30 September\u20131 October 2026. The meeting will mark an important milestone for the consortium, providing the opportunity to align on the project\u2019s objectives, activities and implementation roadmap and to launch the cooperation among partners.<\/p>\n<p>Through collaboration, knowledge exchange and practical experimentation, RECCAM aims to contribute to a more accessible, innovative and sustainable mobility future for rural areas across the Alpine Space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MemEx is proud to be involved in RECCAM \u2013 Boosting Readiness of Rural Areas for Connected, Cooperative &amp; Automated Mobility, a three-year project funded by the Interreg Alpine Space Programme, officially launched on 1 September 2026.
