Civitas destinations<\/span><\/span><\/h1><\/span><\/span>[vc_column_text animation_delay=”600″ css_animation=”right-to-left”]\n

MemEx is partner of CIVITAS DESTINATIONS a four year Innovative Action project, started in September and funded by the EU H2020 CIVITAS Program. The project main aim is the integration of sustainable tourism and mobility strategies trough the development of a series of innovative solutions in six European touristic sites. These solutions aim to improve urban accessibility, the cost effectiveness and integration of transport services and to reduce emissions and energy consumption while answering to tourists and residents\u2019 needs.
\nThe sites involved in DESTINATIONS project are: Funchal, Maderia, Portugal; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain; Limassol, Cyprus; La Valetta, Malta; Elba (Comuni di Rio e Portoferraio), Italy; Rethymno, Creta, Greece.
\nMemEx edited a booklet on the implementation of Shared Use Mobility Agency in Elba as one of the key measure to be demonstrated in the CIVITAS Destinations project. The booklet describes the design phase of the Agency, its role for the integration of mobility offer on the island, the main components of the supporting IT platfomr and its functional and operative specifications. The business approach and the organizational and operational requirements related to the Agency operation are also highlighted.<\/p>\n

\nAmong the other measures, MemEx supports Elba Municipalities in the development of the Shared Use Mobility Agency, a centre for managing and making accessible several \u201con demand and shared\u201d individual and collective services, coordinating different various actors and services and supported by an innovative Information and Communication Technology (ICT) platform.
