“Innovative mobility solutions shaping Europe’s Energy Future” is the title of the workshop which was held on the 18th June in Brussels within the 2019 edition of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) Policy Conference.

The purpose of the  session was to raise awareness of the significance of reducing energy and fuel use by the transport sector as a whole and thus make an important contribution to the fight against climate change. The experience of 16 European cities participating in 3 CIVITAS Innovation Action projects (DESTINATIONS, PORTIS & ECCENTRIC) were presented. Giorgio Ambrosino attended the event as mobility expert involved in an interactive session focusing on the role of sustainable mobility in reducing energy use. He presented the Elba Shared Mobility Agency developed within the DESTINATIONS project as an example of Mobility as a Service (MaaS).
